AVAS offers educational programs to the community four times per year- Sept., Nov., Feb., and April. These free programs are offered in partnership with the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo and the Pueblo Library District. Programs feature expert birders, naturalists, conservationists and authors speaking on birds, wildlife, land and water issues and fun topics for all ages.

AVAS also offers educational birding experiences for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pueblo County, as well as, bird identification field trips on the fourth Sat. of every month. Speakers are available to present at schools and community organizations. Contact us at
